Modern 3D Textured PU Panels
What are PU Sandwich Panels?
PU (Polyurethane) Sandwich Panels consist of a high-density rigid polyurethane foam core sandwiched between two layers of protective metal sheets (typically galvanized steel, aluminum, or stainless steel). This "sandwich" structure provides a lightweight yet incredibly strong building material.
Core Material: PIR vs. PUR
-
PUR: Standard polyurethane foam with excellent insulation.
-
PIR (Polyisocyanurate): An enhanced version of PUR with superior fire resistance and higher thermal stability.
-

Key Features & Benefits
1. Superior Thermal Insulation
With a very low thermal conductivity ($\lambda \approx 0.019$ to $0.024\text{ W/m·K}$), PU panels are among the most efficient insulation materials available. They significantly reduce energy consumption for heating and cooling.
2. High Mechanical Strength
Despite being lightweight, the composite nature of the panels offers excellent load-bearing capacity, allowing for longer spans between support structures.
3. Fire Resistance
Modern PU/PIR panels are treated with flame retardants, meeting international fire safety standards (such as Class B1 or B2). They do not easily ignite and can help prevent the spread of fire.
4. Water & Air Tightness
The tongue-and-groove joint system ensures a seamless fit, providing an airtight seal that prevents moisture penetration and air leakage.
5. Rapid Installation
The modular design allows for fast assembly on-site, drastically reducing construction timelines and labor costs compared to traditional brick-and-mortar methods.
