Sound-absorbing Acoustic panel production process
Material and base preparation stage
1. Raw material preparation
Main material: 100% polyester fiber (recycled PET fiber, such as recycled mineral water bottle material), requiring uniform fiber length (usually 5-10mm) and high purity (no impurities).
Auxiliary materials: a small amount of environmentally friendly adhesive (such as polyester hot melt adhesive), or direct molding through high-temperature melting process (glue-free process).
2. Fiber processing and mixing
Opening and combing: Put the polyester fiber raw material into the opener, make it fluffy by mechanical tearing, and then comb it into a uniform fiber web through the combing machine to remove lumps and impurities.
Mixing and proportioning: Adjust the fiber density according to the sound absorption requirements (such as the conventional density is 80-120kg/m³). If adhesive is added, it needs to be evenly sprayed in the fiber web.
3. Hot pressing molding
Web laying and pre-pressing: Lay the fiber web in the mold and pre-compact it through the pre-pressing machine to form a slab.
High temperature hot pressing: send it into the hot press (temperature 180-220℃, pressure 0.3-0.8MPa), use the hot melt characteristics of polyester fiber to make it melt and bond, or solidify and shape it through adhesive, the pressing time is about 5-10 minutes, and a plate with a certain hardness and elasticity is formed.
4. Cooling and cutting
Cooling and shaping: the hot pressed plate is cooled by the cooling conveyor belt to prevent deformation and ensure dimensional stability.
Precision cutting: use CNC cutting machine to cut according to specifications (such as 1220mm×2440mm), trim the edges, and control the error within ±1mm.
5. Surface treatment and quality inspection
Finishing processing: patterns or colors can be added through printing, spraying and other processes. Some products do not need additional treatment and are directly shipped in the original color of the fiber.
Performance test: test density uniformity, sound absorption coefficient (such as NRC≥0.8), fire rating (B1 grade), environmental protection (zero formaldehyde release), as well as impact resistance and weather resistance.
